Both guided tours provide convenient departure and return transportation from the Royal Hall.

For those looking to explore the local area, the Afternoon Nicosia Walking Tour highlights a cosmopolitan capital that seamlessly merges an ancient, walled city with a fast-paced, modern commercial hub. During this one-hour tour, you will stroll through Laiki Yitonia, a charmingly restored 19th-century quarter featuring craft shops and traditional taverns. The journey continues to the Leventis Museum, where you can view a portion of its rich 10,000-object collection detailing the city’s history, and concludes with a visit to the Ledra Checkpoint, a poignant site that marks the division of the island since 1974.

Alternatively, the Afternoon Lefkara Tour takes you on a three-hour scenic route into the mountains to visit a picturesque village celebrated for its enduring history and tradition. The excursion includes a visit to the 14th-century Holy Cross church and highlights the famous “Lefkaritiko” lace embroidery. This local craft dates back to the Venetian period and famously caught the eye of Leonardo da Vinci when he visited in 1481.
